Convention was AMAZING! One of my favorite parts was participating in a Stampin’ Connections WOW Swap. Stamping’ Connections is a demo only website that has something like 84,000 project ideas!! You never have to worry about coming up with an idea for your workshops when you have Stampin’ Connection at your fingertips!!
The card I made for the WOW swap is one that uses a technique that I learned from Dawn Olchefske’s DoStamping Blog. You make your own Texturz Plates! As you might notice, I used the Lattice Die for my hand made Texturz Plate. You can find out how to do the technique HERE. I added some jewels to each of the lollipop flowers with our half-back rhinestones. The adhesive is already on the back of the jewels so it wasn’t hard at all to pick up the sparkly with our Paper Piercing Tools and place them right where I wanted them on my cards.
Of course, I didn’t forget the inside panel of my cards. It keeps the circle theme going and of course I couldn’t resist adding one more tiny jewel for the finishing touch!
Here are the supplies I used on this project:
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Poppy Parade, Real Red, Garden Green, Whisper White
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Tools: Big Shot Machine, Home-made Texturz Plate using the Lattice Die, Circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes Pack, 1/2″ Circle Punch, 3/4″ Inch Circle Punch, 1″ Circle Punch, 1 1/4″ Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, 5 Petal Punch, Paper Snips to trim the 5 Petal Punch into leaf shapes, Paper Piercer to aid in the placement of the jewel
Accessories: Basic Rhinestones
Adhesives: Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Your card is fabulous (I see a CASE in my future). I also used Dawn's technique in one of my swaps at Convention. Guess I'll have to drag out my die and make this great background. Thanks for sharing!!!
Kay, I was one of the fortunates that received this great card, both myself and my upline agreed this was one of the best cards! Thank You.
This truly is a WOW card. As always, your ideas are fantastic. Such a fun technique, and I can't wait to try it. LOVE IT!
