I’ve been ignoring my Doodle This set lately because I used it on so many summer cards that I was having a hard time thinking that it could be used for anything else. I’ve been very busy lately with kids, out of town company, scrap booking and some home remodeling issues that I haven’t had a lot of time to stamp. (HATE THAT!!) But, today, I had a tiny bit of time so I seized the moment! I went right to SCS to see what the sketch challenge was for the week. Whoo Hoo . . . a great place to start. I grabbed that Doodle This set and I was absolutely determined to use it in a fall card. This is what I came up with. Do you like it? The lace is something I picked up at my local thrift store. I think it adds just the right touch.Naturals White is my card base. I layered the papers as shown using the Apple Cider designer paper from SU. The stitches are drawn on with a white gel pen. The flower was stamped onto Naturals White with Basic Brown ink. I used the aqua painter to paint the flower with Really Rust and Wild Wasabi inks. I used my Old Olive marker to color in the dots and edge the flower after I had it cut out. The button is from SU Earth Elements collection and the ribbon is the caramel gingham from Stampin’Up.
