My customer, neighbor, car-pool mom and most especially my friend, Pam Will dropped by to return a few ink pads and samples that she had borrowed over the weekend. When I unpacked the bag, I found an extra sample!! Thanks so much, Pam, for the beautiful Snow Swirled card. I do not have this set, so I am excited to put it in my card file to show customers who come to my house looking for great ideas. The photo does not show it, but the snowflakes in this set are stamped in VersaMark over the background. The popped up snowflake embossed in gold. I just love it!

Then, wouldn’t you know . . . we didn’t get our mail yesterday. That never happens around here with the three girls and I always looking forward to getting the mail! You never know what might be in that box . . . swap cards, checks from customers, a 30% off coupon from Kohls (one can hope!) or even possibly a RAK. So, 20 minutes ago, I rambled out to the mailbox and lookie-lookie!!! I got a RAK!! (RAK means Random Act of Kindness.) My SCS friend and shopping buddy when she comes to the cities, Beth Matson from Duluth, sent me this beautiful card. At first I didn’t think the gift card was real . . . you know . . . that she was sending me a sample card and showing me how it could be used as a gift card. But low and behold . . . IT”S REAL!! Whoopie! Thank YOU, Beth, for the beautiful card with the fabulous surprise. (I LOVE Caribou coffee!) Beth has a blog called Never Too Old to Color. I’m the first one to agree with that!!
