It’s been a while since I’ve done a Color Challenge over at SCS, but I decided to check it out and I have to admit . . . I kind of like my little pink chickie! The color challenge was to use Pink Passion, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip. Well, I’ve never been afraid to use pink so I dived right in and made my card base from Pink Passion. I knew that my Raspberry Tart DSP would be a good fit with all the pink and Kiwi it contains so that went right on as well. My dilemma was trying to fit Chocoate Chip into the challenge. I finally settled on using it as a frame and as an accent piece with the 1″ double stitched Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon. I added a clear button over some designer series paper just because the ribbon looked a little stark without it. That was truly the finishing touch and then I knew I was done. You may also notice that I used my Black Journaling pen to define the flowers and the egg shells in my frame. I should not have done that with two teenagers three feet away from me arguing over the computer and an Ipod. I found it rather difficult to keep a steady hand!
