This card is an example of another way that you can use a brayer in your stamp room. You can take a piece of Designer Series Paper and brayer over it with the ink color of your choice. This card is for the Late Night Stamper Challenge to use your brayer this week. I used Wild Wasabi ink over a piece of Black and Vanilla DSP.
This card also shows another technique that is fun to try . . . paper piecing. First I stamped the cheese grater onto a scrap of Very Vanilla card stock using black ink. Then I stamped the image again on a piece of Wild Wasabi card stock and one more time onto Brushed Silver card stock. Cut and paste the pieces as you like over the Very Vanilla image and you have just created an image that has been paper pieced. I used the negative image from the lattice die to add focus to my main image.
Did you notice any sneak peak items that will be in the new catalog? Here they are: Wild Wasabi ink and card stock, a new Designer Series Paper called Newsprint, and a new Extra Large Scallop Circle Punch that can be layered behind the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch . . . I LOVE that!!
