Stampin’ Up! challenged us to create and post our projects that use the new Design a House that you can find in the Holiday Mini Catalog on page 37. I figured I’d better get the ball rolling on this . . . especially since I have a “Build a Spooky House Class” coming up next week!! This is what I came up with!!
Do you like it?? I have a feeling that all those M&Ms will attract a lot of attention! lol! (I was pleasantly surprised to find M&Ms in fall colors!! Too bad there weren’t a few olive colored M&Ms, too, then I would have been REALLY coordinated! )
I painted the house with a flat black spray paint. The windows are vellum with spiders stamped in them from the stamp set called Dark & Dreary. I don’t have those nifty battery operated candles that I often see, but if I had one, you bet I would put it inside this house for a lovely yellow/orange glow behind the windows. The roof is Versa Marked, covered in Heat and Stick powder and then sprinkled with Fine Galaxy glitter in black.
The Halloween sentiment is also from Dark & Dreary, stamped on Whisper White and then sponged with Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight. A little bit of layered ribbon, a couple of bats glue-dotted on and my Spooky House was complete!!
Thanks for stopping by – have a fantastic, happy stamping kinda day!

This turned out fabulous! Love the glittered roof!
Great spooky house! I haven't tried mine yet, but I agree…the glitter roof is amazing!
