Here is the second set of scrapbooking pages my customers will make later this month. I have so many great pictures of our day care boys and one of their favorite things to do is to play with a kid’s work bench. Little Carson . . . just over one year . . . walks around all day long with a blue plastic hammer in his hand! Such a boy!! When my daughter Karel was that age, she walked around with a kid’s sized plastic purse. That stuff must just be programmed into them. She is 17 now and still gravitates to purses . . . and shoes . . . and dresses . . . and all things pretty.

I do not use wood mount stamps at all because I find the clear mount so much more flexible. The wood mount stamps that I did have before Stampin’ Up! gave us a choice have all been unmounted. That is how I was able to create a collage of tool images. The sentiments have been trimmed away from the tools which makes putting all the tools onto one clear block a cinch. Then, I just stamped away to create the Totally Tool images along the bottom half of the pages.

One of my favorite parts of this page is the Circular Saw accents! I used the Big Shot Machine and the Scallop Circle Die. Just cut out your scallop circle using Brushed Silver card stock and then run the die cut piece through the Circle Scallop Die again . . . just rotate it a bit so that the scallops aren’t lined up and ta-da . . . a Circular Saw blade!

The designer series paper (on special in August!), is from the Christmas pack called “Letters to Santa.” I chose the blue check design because it was manly and it matched Carson’s shirt today!

In addition to using these pages for boys, they would be great for showcasing your favorite family handyman, or perhaps a big remodeling project, or for building your own house . . . or maybe the new dog house! Whatever the case . . . the pages have lots of possibilities! Have a great day and thanks for much for stopping by Stamping to Share!
