Every month our Team, “Creative Crafters’ Stamping to Share,” has a demo swap. Occasionally we even have a customer or two participate, too! And, who could resist this swap with the catchy title . . . “Too Cute to Toss Tag Swap”? Once again, we had a great participation and I will share the pictures with you today and tomorrow. Here is the first set of tags:
This is the tag Terri Hall created for our swap. Some of the tags had the words at the top and some had the words at the bottom and both looked great! I just love the way Terri ruffled the ribbon.
Isn’t this a cute tag? Kari Cannon made these mini tags/ornaments with with the Stocking Builder Punch. To hold them into the greeting, just use Stampin’ Dimensionals . . . the little hooks loop around the dimensionals perfectly!
Laura Erickson created a pair of Holiday tags for us. Her tree has so much pop! I haven’t a clue how to do it, but I’ve seen this technique out there. Leave it to Laura to make one of her tags 3-D!!
This tag was created by one of our Stampin’ Guests! Mary Bellis made this beautiful creation with punches and dies. Love the big satin bow, too!
Cindy Standal also made two tags for us . . . I love the Snow Much Fun image in the Snowflake Die . . . that’s soooo cute. She decorated the tree tag with rhinestones that were colored with Sharpies. Very sparkling!
Dawn Michels made a wreath tag with her Ornament Punch! I love the texture and sponging. What a great idea!
Debby Filiowich glued strips of Letters to Santa DSP and skinny strips of Silver Glimmer paper together and then used a Big Shot to cut out her tag. Another great idea!!
Isn’t this snowman just the CUTEST? Mary Dagostino created this one . . . way to cute to toss!! She used a variety of punches, and the to from box is made out of the rectangular designer frame embossing folder. She said she made the nose by punching a row of scallops with the scallop border punch and then cutting each scallop to a point. Very clever!
And even though it seems like a Christmas or Holiday swap . . . we actually were not limited . . . we could make tags for any occasion, as long as they were “too cute to toss.” The tag above, made by Kathy Trussell would be gorgeous on wedding gift and afterwords . . . on a scrapbook page! The entire flower is made with the Fun Flowers Die and the “button” is created by putting Crystal Effects on the last two layers and popping it up on a Dimensional. Just gorgeous!!
Stay tuned!! I will have more to share with you tomorrow!
