One of the things I love about our Stamping to Share Monthly Meetings is that we do a swap. The theme for our May Swap was “For the Boys.” I already showed you my boy graduation card HERE and today and tomorrow I will show you the rest of the swap “for the boys.”
One thing about boys . . . they always seem to have a “Need for Speed” and Cindy Standal captured that perfectly with her card . . . nothing faster than a jet! I really like the layout of this card. In fact, this card put me over the edge and I decided I “needed” this set! It went on my last order!!

Cindy LeMire knows that boys like to fish and we just had the opener in MN this past weekend. I like the many creative aspects in this card . . . every time I look at it I find something new about it! She used “Teeny Tiny Wishes” and soon to be retired “Extreme Elements.”

Chris Glebus made a clean and simple Father’s Day card featuring one of the Summer Mini Carryover sets called “Open Sea.” She also used “Teeny Tiny Wishes.” A little sponging helps the image and sentiment stand out from the rest of the card.

Angie Lunden went to the “Tool Shed” for this manly card. The sentiment is from the soon to be retired hostess set called “Happiest birthday Wishes.” I just added this background stamp to my wish list . . . the everlasting, ongoing list of things I want from SU!! (Just one of the reasons I “had” to become a demonstrator!!)

Linda Watson used the negative space from the Lattice Die Cut to frame her wolf from the “In Wilderness” stamp set. This awesome set is soon to be retired. (Glad I have it and now I have another idea for it!)

Katherine Narog made this cute card for the “Best Dad Ever!” (except for my dad! lol!) And, yes, “Best Dad Ever” is also the name of the stamp set!

Karen Lockner made this clean and simple card featuring soon to be retired Mocha Morning Specialty paper. I LOVE that paper and a card like this makes it look so good! This card happens to be a birthday card, but truly the design is all occasion and could be used for just about anything.

Karen Larson’s birthday card for boys uses the stamp set called “Word Play.” I like her use of the Houndstooth Embossing folder on the foil and pennants. Lots of texture and fun stuff going on in this card . . . right on down to three finishing nails on the bottom right. (ok . . . mini brads. Just thought “nails” seemed more manly!)

Irene Boesen used a sentiment from “Delightful Dozen” that she colored in with markers to match her card. The tool is from the soon to be retired set called “Totally Tool.” I love the soon to be retiring Well Worn designer series paper that Irene featured as a banner and the twine is a nice touch.

Grace Balfanz used the retired set called “Packed for Dad” to create this darling Dad’s Day card. Like Irene, she used Well Worn DSP and “manned up” the ribbon by topping it with hemp twine . . . a very creative touch!! Grace and her husband are moving to ND in just a few days and we will miss her soooo much, but she has promised to stay swapping with us!! Good Luck on your move, Grace!

I’ll share Part Two tomorrow! Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!
