I come from family of hunters and I was excited to see Stampin’ Up! carry this set in their Holiday Catalog. I was excited to try it out and since I had all my tape out . . . might as well make another Painter’s Tape Background! This time I used the 1″ Painter’s Tape and the colors of ink I used from bottom to top are Night of Navy, Island Indigo and Perfect Plum. If you want to see a video tutorial just click on how to make Painter’s Tape Backgrounds. I love how it turned out.
After the ink had a chance to dry, I inked up the deer with Versa Mark ink and then heat embossed it with Silver Embossing Powder. And to give the card even more interest, I took one of the antique brads that SU sells, inked it up in VersMark and then sprinkled it with Silver Embossing Powder. I used one of those wooden handled “reverse tweezers” to hold it by the legs while I heat embossed it. Then, be patient and let it cool off before you touch it because it will be HOT!! Ask me how I know!! lol!
Hope you’ve enjoyed seeing this card! Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!! I appreciate you!
