Our first card is by Sue and didn’t she do a GORGEOUS job stamping those flowers? Lost Lagoon and Old Olive are a stunning combination on this card. The sentiment is punched out with the Decorative Label punch.
Debby’s card is so elegant, like finding an unexpectedly beautiful flower in the moonlight. The layer colors start with a base of Wisteria Wonder, then it’s a layer of Night of Navy, then a layer of Smokey Slate and finally Whisper White for the stamped layer. The flower is stamped in various shades of Night of Navy ink.
Elegant Eggplant with Wisteria Wonder is always going to be a winner. Mary’s card captures the beauty of a single lotus blossom by encapsulating it within the tall Apothecary Accent die. She used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border to anchor the image over a flood of embossed Decorative Dots.
Dorene’s card really flows. The flowers draw your eyes right to the popped up heart and then around and up to the sentiment from the set called You Plus Me. The colors on this card are Strawberry Slush and Pistachio Pudding. Such a pretty, fresh and springy combo.
But, this card also has a surprise! When you pull on the heart, the heart spins around and around like it’s all “Twitterpated!” Love that!
Laura’s card combines some artful tearing with beautifully stamped images in Elegant Eggplant. The Linen Thread is a lovely touch to anchor this heavenly card with a bit of elegant earthiness. I think this card would be nice to make in multiples . . . and the sentiment could be varied to fit the occasion.
PERFECT colors for Valentines Day!! Faith’s cards is done up in Strawberry Slush, Real Red and Wild Wasabi. I love the punched Hearts Border along the side that is accentuated with 1/8″ Gold Ribbon. The sentiment is from Sheltering Tree and the leaves are from Crazy About You.
Kim’s striking thank you card really showcases the sentiment and I love the way the flower is leaning in towards the center. Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper is along the left and the polka dot paper is from the 2013-15 In Color 12×12 Patterns pack.
Our final Lotus Blossom card by Mychelle looks so royal with Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant. The sponging adds depth and helps the light pop behind the flowers.. An elegant thank you card that is easily created by attaching the stamped layer behind the ripped card base layer.
Stay tuned for Part Two tomorrow!
