Two Pretty Ideas for Out of Season Cards with Blended Seasons Bundle!

Today I am sharing two spring-like or summer-like cards to show you how the Blended Seasons Bundle can be used year around. It’s tempting to just show fall and Christmas options since those are the seasons that are typically highlighted this time of year. Enjoy these spring/summer cards for additional ideas and ways you can use the bundle. 

A reminder: The Blended Seasons Bundle is an August 2018 Special Limited Edition Promotion from Stampin’ Up! The last day to order the bundle in clear mount or wood mount is Friday, August 31st. One of the unique features of the Stitched Seasons Framelit set which can be ordered separately or included as part of the bundle price is that the stitching is on both the negative and the positive space so perfectly illustrated on the card above where two of the framelits put together and run through the Big Shot Machine created the elegant frame piece on which the flowers are arranged. The flowers were stamped colored and then carefully “fussy cut” to give them their “just picked” look. The greenery is all cut with the Stitched Seasons framelits from Old Olive card stock. The square panel of designer series paper in the background helps with anchoring all the many elements that make up this card. It’s from the Garden Impressions 6×6 pack which is in our Annual Catalog. 

Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green pair up for the cutest spring/summer friendship card. The amazing texture on the Granny Apple Green panel is created by running it through the Big Shot Machine with the Subtle Embossing Folder. The cut out greenery is in Mossy Meadow this time. Stampin’ Blends in Granny Apple Green were used to color the stamped leaves and the cut out florals were edged with the Flirty Flamingo Blends. The sequins go on nice and easy as they are the Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins found on page 198 of the Annual Catalog. A quick and easy card to be given to a cherished friend.
