We had less swappers at our Demo Meeting Swap in July because I was out of town and we held our meeting online. However, we still had a few, and the cards as you can see were FAB!! I am always blown away by the talent in my group and I hope you will enjoy what you see! If you have questions about how to create these items, please contact the person who created the card via their facebook page (if they have one) which you will find on the watermark on the photos. Thank you!!
Dawn’s card uses the new Daisy Lane Bundle that includes the Medium Daisy Punch. This stamp set also has a flower that coordinates with the Daisy Punch, a bit larger and introduced into our product line up last year. She highlighted Rococo Rose, a new InColor. The sentiment is from the stamp set called Delightful Day. The amazing ribbon treatment is something new to the catalog called Woven Threads Trim.
Diana created a Cascade Card and then decorated it with Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. Yes, the birds, the feathers and the flowers were all fussy cut!! We all tell her she is amazing and as you can see . . . she is!! The sentiment and label are from the bundle called Free as a Bird. To learn how to make Cascade Cards, Diana Googled It and found a video on You Tube. She said there were quite a few how to videos on how to do it.
Another card with lots and lots of cuts . . . but these images were die cut. Grace’s card uses the It Starts with Art Bundle and if there was ever a tribute card to a paper crafter, this is it! The embossed layer below all the brightly colored cutouts is called Button Button.
Kim’s card features the bundle called Lovely is the Day. I think that bundle can be easily overlooked in our catalog, but once Kim created this card, I had to give it a second look! I love the calming colors she used, one of which is our new InColor called Seaside Spray. Three of the flowers feature rhinestones which add sweet sparkle to this card in real life.
Mary Alice’s card uses the Path of Petals Bundle. She used Perennial Essence Designer Paper on the inside of the card for a beautiful backdrop, but the surprise happens when you open the card and see that front label is actually supported by a ribbon adding even more light and airiness to this card!
Here is a close up to show how Mary Alice created a fun “suspended” label on her card. She used the new InColor called Rococo Rose and the label is attached to our new Gathered Ribbon also in Rococo Rose.
This is my swap card created in yellows and greens on a backdrop of Seaside Spray using the bundle called To a Wild Rose. You can see all the details about how I created this card in a previous blog post by clicking on To a Wild Rose Swap Card by Kay. Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by and checking out the cards my downline made for our July Swap. I appreciate you!
