Today you will learn how to make an easy, elegant All Occasions card with the Floral Essence stamp set, the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper Pack and the Leaf Punch. I was a little shocked when I noticed that the Leaf Punch was retiring from the Stampin’ Up! punch selection. This punch is about the most perfect leaf punch that I have ever had the pleasure of using. You can use with or without a coordinating stamped image. In this particular card, I used Gold Foil leaf punch out to really add shine and elegance to this beautiful card. I was very much inspired by a swap card that my downline member, Kim Lundstrom created last fall. In fact, we even created this card during Fall Flair this past October. The free PDF of this card is towards the bottom of this post.
Here is a group photo of thee cards so that you can truly appreciate how awesome the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper is. You can use every single design inn this pack of paper to recreate these cards and each card will have a slightly, different flavor. I love when I get so much bang for my buck when I use pretty much every last scrap available to me in a pack of paper!
And, as long as we have gold foil accents – we can definitely go big on the flower centers, too! I used the soon to be retired Gold Faceted Gems. Just remember that when you use gems as large as these, you will want to make sure you adequately pad your envelope before sending it off. It will require extra postage due to the bulkiness – but oh how worth it! People who are lucky enough to receive a card like this will probably have it on display for weeks!!
