The 12 Weeks of Christmas …
the Countdown Begins!

Beginning on Thursday, September 30, all of my customers who receive my monthly newsletters will also receive once a week for the next 12 weeks an e-mail from me with a Christmas idea. These ideas will feature everything Christmas from cards and tags, to gifts and packaging. If you would like to be a part of it, be sure to subscribe to my Newsletter by clicking on the “Sign Up for Kay’s Stamping to Share Newsletter.” It’s a box that you can find over on the left side bar of my blog.

In the meantime . . . how about a cute way to keep a list? (Maybe a list of all your Stampin’Up Christmas Wishes?) This list holder has a magnetic back to stick to your refrigerator or filing cabinet. I actually made it a while back for some workshops I did this summer, but forgot to post it here on my blog. Thinking about Christmas triggered my memory!

I purchased some note pads and had one of those copy service places cut off the red line margin. That left me with a little over 4″ left which I then had cut in half to make two pads for making lists. Then, I just wrapped some Poppy Parade card stock around it, secured it with that super strong Sticky Strip tape and all that was left to do was the decorating.

To decorate it, I stamped the pretty image from Messages for Mom onto a piece of Whisper White and punched it out with the 2 x 1 3/8″ Oval Punch. I used markers to color it in, added a little Dazzling Diamonds, adhered it to the top of the list with some Stampin’ Dimensionals and then it was done! ta da! Nice and quick. How’s that for your first Christmas idea?

Here are the supplies:

Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Markers in Poppy Parade, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive
