Simple and Stepped Up with Stampin’ Up! Rooted in Nature

And now, onto the cards that I did yesterday at my Stamp and Chat with Kay Facebook Live. Once again, I focused on Simple Stamping and Stepped Up Simple Stamping. The final card gets out the Big Shot and we stamp on “fortified” DSP so we can keep it sturdy when we pop it up with Dimensionals. Here is a card I created with the Very Vanilla Notecards and Envelopes. It is stamping pure and simple . . . just ink, paper and stamps. Making cards like this makes my heart sing and brings me back to my stamping roots when I had very few supplies to make cards. It’s been fun to challenge myself to come up with cards like this and so far, it seems like most people are applauding my efforts – thank you!

The next card is also nice and easy to recreate. We stepped it up by adding some gorgeous Designer Series Paper from Nature’s Poem and added some layered punch outs to really bring attention to the sentiment.

The last card is such a treasure to me because “thinking of you” cards are sometimes hard to  make. Sometimes we really don’t know what words to say, but it can help to heal our hearts when we create a card like this for someone who really needs our love and kindness during a difficult situation.
