I just had to post this quick challenge card before I run out the door to my Creative Crafters Stamping to Share downline meeting! It’s a Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge. I got this set last year at convention . . . it’s called Wellness Wishes and this is my very first time to use it!! Terrible, I know . . . but sometimes the sets you get for free aren’t necessarily the same ones you would buy!! But, FREE is FREE and now that I’ve used it . . . I rather like it!
I’m not sure how well it shows up in the picture . . . but I used the Woodgrain Background with tone on tone stamping. It’s to represent the dog house! I think this is a nice masculine card . . . not a ribbon, button or spec of sparkle on it. The image is colored with ink from the lid of my ink pads and a blender pen. I’m not very good at blender pens . . . I always feel like have to be so perfect when I use them and that’s impossible for me. Next time, I think I will try watercoloring this image . . . then you don’t have to worry about staying in the lines and all that jazz.
Well, I’d better be off – thanks for stopping by my blog today! Here are the supplies I used:
Stamps: Wellness Wishes, Woodgrain Background
Paper: Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Greenhouse Gala DSP
Ink: Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip
Tools: Blender Pen
Adhesives: Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Kay Kalthoff . . . Stamping to Share and Loving Every Minute of It!
