This is a pretty cute box all by itself . . . but when you open it up . . . surprise . . . up pops a snowman from the Jolly Old St. Nick stamp set!
These snowman are so quick and easy to color. Just use a blender pen and ink from the lid of your ink pad. I coordinated the colors with Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper and used Cherry Cobbler ink for the mittens and the scarf. The hat and buttons are Basic Black. You might even notice the sparkles . . . no snowman is complete without sparkles!! Dazzling Diamonds go on slick as a whistle with just a touch of your 2-Way Glue Pen.
Here’s a picture of what the snowman looks like just as you are opening the box.
If you are making a sweet little matchbox treat box . . . there better be treats!! Yum . . . yum!!!
If you are interested in exactly how this whole cute little box is put together, just pull up the floorboard and look underneath. The ribbon is taped down nice and flat. The clear strips a from a medium window sheet. You can see the mini glue dots that I used to adhere them to the base of the box and to the snowman pop up.
