At my Big Shot Class coming up this coming Tuesday, my customers will be making this Petal Cone Valentine Door Hanger. One of the mom’s in my group is already planning to mail hers off to her daughter as it will put a little Valentine Cheer in her college dorm room. With a few shredds and some Dove Chocolates you have the perfect gift to sweeten up someone’s Valentine’s Day.
This Petal Cone die is so versatile. The top can be left open as it is here or it can be closed up. You can also use just the heart portion of the die for a scrapbook page as I did HERE. I used the Lots of Tags Sizzlits Die to cut four tags from Melon Mambo card stock. I put “xo” on two side with the Naturally Serif Decorative Strip Die and on the other two sides used a stamp from the Curvy Verses set. I stamped it with Melon Mambo ink onto Pretty in Pink card stock and punched it out with the 2″ x 1 3/8″ Oval Punch which layers into the tag die cut beautifully. An image from Elements of Style is used all over the Petal Cone before it was assembled . . . so, so pretty!
