I got a ton of cute swaps at Stampin’ Up! Convention this summer, but none cuter than the one I got from Susie Wood! Of course, growing up on a hog farm in southern MN, I am a bit partial to piggies! The card above is the one that I cased from Susie. Well, that card let to another and another and before you know it I was going “hog wild” over Button Buddies!
Here’s cute baby card. I discovered that by stamping the sentiment (from the Occasions Alphabet) twice, I could punch out one section for the outside of the card and the other section for the inside of the card using the one inch circle punch. Talk about EASY!! (And, I love easy, don’t you?)
The Doily Triple Layer Punch mades a nice frame for the 1″ circle sentiment, doesn’t it? I love it when that happens!
I think this is the card I sent to Shelli Gardner to help her celebrate her birthday. I heard she got over 1,200 cards!! That’s quite a birthday celebration . . . ‘course it was a “big” one . . . lol!
The large oval punch works perfectly for punching out the Occasions Alphabet sentiments and the Scallop Oval punch makes the perfect frame for it.
This card uses yet another image from Button Buddies. All of the images were stamped using Pretty in Pink ink and punched out. The images on the front of the card were punched with the 2 1/2″ Circle Punch . . . perfectly sized for the Button Buddies images.
