If you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, you get the opportunity to order products in advance of their release to the public. It’s a great perk and so much fun to see new stuff in advance. This card uses a wonderful mix of old and new. I have always enjoyed the stamp set called Sweetheart that is now on the retirement list and thought I would get it out to remind you how much fun this set can be . . . and even more fun when you put it with something new . . . such as ALL FIVE new 2012-2014 In Colors!
Gumball Green, Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple make their debut! So very pretty – together, separately and paired up with our regular line colors. The bow is made with gorgeous stitched satin ribbon that I received as a gift from Stampin’ Up! while I was at Disney last week. I LOVE it . . . it is so soft and so easy to work with. This is going to be one of my “go-to” ribbons for sure!
Here is an inside view of the card . . . just had to show off the Summer Starfruit again. I am seeing this color everywhere! In fact, I recently purchased a coffee mug at Starbucks that had a mix of Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit on it. Sooo pretty together! I just LOVE how on trend Stampin’ Up! is with their In Color Collections.
Stamping to Share Tip of the Day: Use the world around you to create your color combinations. I ran to get the coffee cup that I mentioned in the paragraph above and I used the mug for inspiration to pair Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit with Soft Suede. It is a gorgeous combination!!

I love this card, and the new colors. I got my box yesterday, and I don't even want to open and use the paper yet. I want to savor it, and decide when I find something worth cutting it open for. LOL! You should have seen me with my new catalogue last night, adding post-it flags to the things I love. Looking dog-eared already!
