This is a card my clubs are doing this month. I was inspired by a card I saw on a Leadership Display Board created by Kelly Acheson. My customers loved learning this technique. What you do is pat your light colored ink pad directly onto your Clear Mount Block. In this card, I used Crumb Cake directly onto Clear Mount Block D. Then, you press your inked up block onto your paper. This will give you a “shadow” with which you can stamp other images onto and around. Now, every shadow is different . . . some will be mottled and blotched and others might even have streaks in them. Embrace these differences! It gives each card a unique look and adds to its vintage-like charm! This particular card goes together so fast and yet looks so elegant. I think I will make up a bunch and use them for swaps at Regionals this weekend in Minneapolis.
