I made 34 double rosette topped Christmas boxes for my Stamping to Share Demo Group. I had a little something sparkly (Glimmer Brads) in each one for their gift. I LOVE these Kraft boxes that SU introduced to us in their Holiday Mini Catalog. I’ve decorated them up many times already for my hostesses and they have even found their way under the Christmas Tree. They are the perfect size for so many sweet surprises!
Here’s an “aerial” view. I used two different designer series papers . . . Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty Designer Series paper and Christmas Lodge DSP. I couldn’t begin to pick a favorite as each one had its own “personality!” It was truly a labor of love . . . my husband and kids prepped, taped and painted (two coats) the kitchen and the front entry into our cabin all the while I was decorating boxes. Steve thought maybe I was “timing” it to finish just as they finished painting . . . but it honestly, it really did take me that long! lol! Thank goodness for Simply Scored! I’m anxious to try a new die that SU recently introduced to demonstrators that will help make this process much quicker!! Wouldn’t you know . . . I didn’t have it when I made these over Thanksgiving weekend!
One of my downline members, Dawn Michels, gifted me with this beautiful paper ornament. The mushrooms are trinkets from Germany that can be removed and stored separately during the “off season!”
