I was inspired to make this card when I saw a similar one that Tara Bazata created. Quite a few of my customers got to make this last month as it was featured on my April Card Buffet. I love that the flowers “glimmer!” They are punched with the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack and then stuck onto the card with glue dots. There are two soon to be retired sets in this picture . . . Always Elegant (I love the scroll) and You’re a Gem. I’ll never part with You’re a Gem . . . there are so many fabulous little sentiments in that set. Some of my faves . . . “Queen for a Day”, “You’re a Gem”, “it’s the little things” and “Key to my Heart.”

I hope you have a wonderful day! I am still in “Disney Recovery Mode!” We just got all the pictures on the computer and it is pretty overwhelming. Three camera crazy kids and we got pictures of pretty near everything! I was going to share some of them and I still might . . . but I don’t know. I might not have a lot of time to devote to it. My daughter, Karel, is graduating from High School and there’s a lot of things to do this month. Not quite sure how I’ll fit it all in, but I’m not going to worry too much about it if I don’t. I’m so done with being perfect! (I used to try to be – but no more! lol! Life is too short and should be lived in the moment!!) . . . (Hmm – is that a new philosophy? or a new excuse? lol!)

Stamping to Share Tip of the Day: Try layering white on white or cream on cream with dimensionals separating the layers. That is what most inspired me about Tara’s card and as you can see . . . it’s a fabulous look!
