Upsy Daisy is one of my favorite stamp sets because it is so simple to use . . . PERFECT for new stampers! But, it’s been around awhile and on May 31, it is being retired. This card was inspired by a swap card I received from Rachel Durtschi. I dragged the Soft Suede ink pad over the card several times to add a wood-like look to the card base. This is the card my customers are making this month to donate to our local befrienders group. Even though the stamp set comes with three nice sentiments, our befriender’s group really needed some Get Well cards so I picked this Get Well sentiment from the set called Delightful Dozen that I recently received for FREE in recognition of my Sale-a-bration Sales. I love stampin’ rewards like that!
Stamping to Share Tip of the Day: Use a ribbon knot attached with a glue dot on top of a strip of coordinating card stock. It gives the illusion that the ribbon goes all the way across the card!
Have a lovely day and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!
