Sometimes I get so excited about whatever MINI catalog SU is promoting that I forget about my tried and true stamps from our regular catalog. I almost made a Christmas card . . . but decided to be forward thinking and make something I can display in my studio for the next two months or so. Greeting Card Kids is one of my very favorite regular line stamp sets. While I stamped and prepped for a couple of upcoming events, it was snowing and snowing and snowing. I would go out and sweep/shovel the deck off every hour or so. We grill all winter long and I like to feed and water the birds (and squirrels!) and keeping the deck snow free makes it all go a bit easier!
This is the inside of the card using the stamp set called Delightful Dozen which has great sentiments for year round stamping. I used an Aqua Painter and Watercolor Wonder Crayons to color the images that were stamped with StazOn Black ink. Below is a video to help you learn the basics if you are new to using Watercolor Crayons with an Aqua Painter.
