My mother’s birthday is coming up in a few days and although I can’t visit with her in person anymore, I hear her words in my head every day. She passed away at the young age of 57. She enjoyed feeding the birds and would have gotten a kick out of this card. When I was really little, she used to wake me up by singing a song about a little birdie on the windowsill. It’s no wonder this card makes me think of her.
Below I have a video to show you how to place the bird perfectly on the edge of the frame without using a stamp-a-ma-jig. I also share all the measurements and other details to help you re-create this card. have a wonderful day . . .

Oh – I know that little ditty…'A birdie with a yellow bill hopped upon my window sill. Cocked his shiny head and said, "Wake up, wake up, you sleepy head." (I used to hate that blasted little yellow bird!!!) lol Thank you so much for sharing!!
This card is adorable! What a great use for that stamp set. I know what you mean about losing your mom. My mother passed away at the age of 42 and I've been without her for a really long time. Still miss her. Sending big hugs out to you.
