We had our Stamping to Share Group Meeting last night and I couldn’t wait to share these awesome swaps with you. Our theme this month was to create cards with a Feminine Touch. I think my downline did a marvelous job!! This is part one. Tune in on Thursday for Part Two.
As a side note, I will not be doing a Fab Friday Facebook Live Video this week as I am prepping to attend CenterStage and OnStage Local in Minneapolis. Every six months, Stampin’ Up! puts on the most wonderful events for their demonstrators. I truly did join Stampin’ Up! because I loved all the fun that goes with these events. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! And, I think my team is excited, too! We have 19 of us attending!!
If you would like to be a part of a warm and caring group of Creative Crafters Stamping to Share, I would encourage you to sign up today. We would love for you to be a part of our group. If you are ready to start having even more fun with your hobby, the link to join Stampin’ Up! is RIGHT HERE!
Now, onto the cards!
This first card is created by Sharon Merritt. She used the Beautiful You stamp set with the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper. This paper pairs up beautifully with this stamp set for elegant and sophisticated paper piecing. These two patterns are particularly lovely as Sharon’s card demonstrates.
The Jar of Love Bundle can create super elegant and feminine cards as shown by this card created by Mary Alice Bellis. There were 13 pieces that Mary Alice had to use her Big Shot with. And it was with love (I hope!) that she put into every crank of that handle!!
Carmen Olsen made a Mother’s Day card using cutouts from the Window Box Thinlits and the flourish from Flourishing Phrases. White Craft ink on Smoky Slate has a subdued elegance about it that is pepped up with the sparkling Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.
When you want to give a card to someone who likes to have fun and loves sunny days and flowers . . . get ready to case this card! Mary Smallidge used the Flower Shop stamp set with the coordinating Pansy Punch to make this showstopper. I love the bright, summery colors!
Cindy Lambert used the Circle of Spring stamp set to create this very elegant and feminine Mother’s Day card. She created her own background paper with the stamps in the stamp set. The Layering Ovals come in handy when you want to create a focal point on your card. She used Clear Wink of Stella on the bow for a bit of shine.
Dawn Michels used Crazy About You for the flower and the single word “spring.” The “…it’s in the air” sentiment is from Bloomin’ Love. The background paper is Blooms and Bliss. All of these pieces tie together perfectly for a lovely and elegant Spring Card.
Judy Hamen’s card uses the flower piece from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. She cut out two of these flowers and then cut the stems off and glued the flowers facing each other to create one big bloom!! It’s spectacular!! The leaves are from the Flourish Thinlit Dies. Just lovely on the Brick Wall background.
