Our theme for our November Demonstrator Meeting swap was Christmas so if you are still waiting to be inspired (and for all of you who love the excitement of doing things last minute!) here are some great cards to inspire your creativity . . . just in time for Christmas! ENJOY!!
This first super adorable card was created by Sharon Merritt. The kitty punch outs with their cute little faces are part of the Spooky Cat Bundle. Also from the 2017 Holiday Catalog are the sentiments, the mittens and the stocking cap which are a part of the Santa’s Suit Bundle. The swoosh of stars in the background is from the Star of Light stamp set in our 2017-18 Annual Catalog.
Mychelle Rossberg created an easy, elegant card with the Winter Wonder Embossing Folder. The sentiment Mychelle used is from the 2017-18 Annual Catalog. It’s from a very versatile stamp set called Better Together and covers many different occasions.
Mary Smallidge created a card with the Star of Light stamp set. This stamp set has great sentiments that are created for the outside and for the inside your cards. After all, the more we stamp on the inside, the less we have to write! lol! The Starlight Thinlits give you a lot of layering options.
Judy Hamen created a beautiful medallion for the front of her card which features paper from the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper. She used doilies and circles all enhanced with a bow from the Holly Berry Builder Punch.
Shelly Lommel created a card with the 2017 Holiday Catalog host set called Season of Whimsy. She always does such an amazing job coloring! This card also has just the right amount of sparkle with Silver Glimmer paper and three sparkling rhinestones.
Mary Alice Bellis was inspired by a card from LeAnne Pugliese. She used the glossy white paper to cut out the snow scene in the center medallion from the Card Front Builder Thinlits and the Stitched Shape Framelits. The Woodland Embossing Folder adds to the wintery look. The sentiment is from Flurry of Wishes.
This vintage image is from the stamp set called Christmas in the Making and Stacey Krats used it to practice coloring with her new Stampin’ Blends. She then fussy cut the entire image out and layered it over circle shapes. WOW! That’s patience!!
Dawn Michels created this cheerful card with the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Foil Snowflakes help accent the sentiment which is from the Better Together set found in our 2017-18 Annual Catalog.
Festive Phrases in the 2017 Holiday Catalog offers a couple of Christmas phrases like this cute elf image along with a Halloween sentiment and a Valentine sentiment. Kim Lundstrom created this card featuring the elf image hiding behind his Christmas sign! The paper is from the Annual Catalog and is called Be Merry.
This is the card I created for the swap. I used the Merry Cafe stamp set from the 2017 Holiday Catalog and cut the die cuts with the Coffee Cup Framelits from the Annual Catalog. If you would like to see a video of how to make this card, just click on Merry Cafe Christmas Card for the link and the supply list.
