These past few weeks have been a flurry of preparation and fun as our group of Creative Crafters Stamping to Share prepped card samples, card packets, project bags, product gifts and after lunch chocolate treats for 122 demonstrators and customers! The total cards prepped and completed by the end of our event came to 3,150! That is just staggering when you start to think about it!! No wonder it takes three solid weeks to get ready for this event! Above you see the early bird team who came to help set up. This is about 10 minutes before we had a line out the door of people ready to come in start stamping!
This is what my studio looked like the night before our event. So thankful for my supportive family who helped me load up three vehicles so we could get it all to the church on time!
This is about mid-way through our event. We are pretty much at capacity! It’s fun to see new faces along with friends who have been stamping with us for years already.
One of the things I love and appreciate about Stampin’ Up! is that they provide us with some great little treat holders! To create this little set up (thank you Mychelle, Andrea and Kathy!!), all we had to do was assemble the clear boxes, add our chocolates with a little shred, tie on a bow and they were ready to go!! Of course, this does take some time when you make well over 100 of them, but still . . . how cute and sweet and simple!
Of course, passing them out was the best part! It seems like everyone looks forward to this part of the day!
Another fun little take home is the product gift. We often decorate the bags that we put them in. Typically product gifts contain items for our customers to use with their card making through out the day. This time, the product gift contained 1/8″ Gold Ribbon and our Eclectic Shaped Paper Clips.
The best part of my day is going around from table to table to chit chat with customers and demonstrators. Linda is just six months in as a demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! and we love having her in our group.
And finally, a pretty picture of our Project Bags along with the name tags, product gifts and treat holders. Each Project Bag featured a Sale-a-bration Mixed Medallions Kit card and envelope ready for use! My niece Molly put these together for us and she did an amazing job. Another item that generated a lot of comments at Spring Fling were the beautifully decorated name tags designed and created by my assistant and downline member Kim Lundstrom.
An event like this takes many hands and there are no shortage of willing helpers in my group of Creative Crafters Stamping to Share. I hope each downline member and each customer feels the love in my heart when I say, “You are truly appreciated!”
