Creating this card was easy . . . off camera! lol! As soon as I attempted to recreate it on my Make It Monday Facebook Live, I struggled with “grounding” it! The sunset? Easy Peasy! Making the ground . . . not so much! haha! However, if you persevere ( or Fast Forward) through my first couple of attempts, I do eventually figure out a work around! But, isn’t that the beauty of a Facebook Live Broad cast? You get to see it all – the ups and the downs of trying to make a pretty card. My viewers were incredibly supportive and gave me high fives all the way through. I hope you can find the patience to watch me struggle. In the end, we do succeed!! Hooray! Enjoy the how to, or the how not to video!!

I had to smile to myself while you made the first two cards with the fuzzy lines. I keep saying, “Don’t throw those cards away. Use a black marker”. And you must have heard me. And then I was also thinking about the heavier paper issue as well. I just wonder though if you had used the Post it notes with a sponge dauber that it may have worked that way, too. Thank you so much for sharing this cards and others you have posted!
Thank you so much, Linda, for you comments! I’m glad we came to the same conclusion!!
I absolutely love this card! It is beautiful! Hope to give it a try later today. Thanks so much for your inspiration to making such great cards! I have learned so much from your videos !
Thank you so much, Marti!! I appreciate you and your kind support!!
I thought the fussy landscape line looked like little bits of grass. But it may not have looked that way in person. Sometimes you just need to let your cards do what they want. Life is not perfect and your card looked great to me.
Thank you, Holly! You are right! Cards sometimes do take off on their own directions!! lol! I appreciate you!
My thoughts were that the fuzzy black area made the ground look more natural as it gave the appearance of being grass. I could not read all of the comment from June 29, 2018 at 7;14 PM’s name and comment, but it seems we both had similar impressions. It really is a nice card and makes an easy masculine card.
