Hi Everyone! I’m back from a small vacation over the 4th of July Week. Wow!! How did that time fly so fast?? I’m left with some great memories: Golfing (twice!), fishing, hammocking, “down time”, good times with family and friends, and yummy food. As it was, we grilled a lot so the bulk of the cooking fell to my husband. (I love that!) He’s the only person I know who can grill chicken breasts or pork chops and make them taste like you just ordered them at the most exquisite and expensive restaurant. He does it just perfect and they turn out melt in your mouth tender. I on the other hand, can handle cooking the fish and coming up with sides.
Normally, I like to post these swaps at least within the same month that I received them . . . but you know, sometimes time just gets away on you. But here they are today in all their glory. Our theme for June was to use a Demonstrator “Pre-Order.” I hope you enjoy and that you are as inspired by my downline as I am. Have a great day and Happy Summer!
Stacey got creative with the Share What You Love Product Suite. I love the gorgeous coloring she did with Stampin’ Blends and the Lovely Floral embossing peeking out from behind the main image is an elegant touch.
Mary Kiley chose to focus on some new colors: Gorgeous Grape and Pineapple Punch for a card with pop using the Painted Glass Bundle. I love the fabulous detail in the Stained Glass Thinlit Dies.
Karen Mack picked a host set to work with called Very Vintage. She combined the images with a wonderful new corner punch called Detailed Trio and in addition to the Stitched Shaped Framelits, she is also highlighting the beauty of one of the Stitched Labels Framelits.
Carmen Olsen was enthralled with the Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Paper and used it on this card for a super elegant look. The vine that is curling around the sentiment panel is from the stamp set called Hold on to Hope.
Judy Hamen created a gorgeous card with the Serene Garden Bundle. The embossed layer in the background is from the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder. A card like this can be used for so many different occasions. A truly versatile set.
Kim Lundstrom made some elegant 3×3 cards featuring leaves from the Rooted in Nature stamp set. To create the awesome backgrounds, she scribbled markers on our Acrylic Blocks, spritzed and stamped. Easy and fun when you don’t mind every background looking a bit different from the next.
Mary Smallidge created this awesome Triangle Close card with the Accented Blooms stamp set. The coloring on the flowers with her Stampin’ Write Markers is exquisite!
Dawn’s card uses the Share What You Love Product Suite along with a sentiment from Detailed with Love. This smart layout is easy to replicate and perfect for the new stamper!
Mary Alice Bellis used the Share What You Love Product Suite along with a stamp set that “won” at one of our Stampin’ Up! get togethers called OnStage Local. We loved seeing how she used the Swirly Frames stamp set with the designer series paper!
And this was my swap card using the Lilypad Lake Bundle. I have all the information about this card include a how to video. Just click on Lilypad Lake to see it.
