Our Demo Meeting Swap was to feature Christmas cards from the 2018 Holiday Catalog . . . and oh such talents went into the making of these cards! Enjoy this look at our Stamping to Share Swap Cards . . . they are Fabulous!!
Karen used the Christmas Traditions Punch Box for the sentiment and punched piece on this card. She also used the Sprig Punch with the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper, the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder, Bright Copper Shimmer Paint and the luscious Merry Merlot & Copper Reversible Ribbon. Truly a card that is a joy to behold!
Katherine cased this cute card right out of our 2018 Holiday Catalog, page 38. It’s truly a bright and refreshing card that will certainly brighten the spirits of anyone lucky enough to receive it! It truly wonderful way to send some winter cheer and wish a friend all the best!
Mary Alice created this elegant locking gatefold card using designer series paper from Frestive Farmhouse. The sentiment is from the Christmas Traditions Punch Box and is elegantly matted and embellished. It’s a pretty card that’s fun to open and close . . . and open and close again!!
Mary created this festive card using the stamp set called Making Christmas Bright. Lights and lights and lights . . . one of the delights of Christmas. This card will never be lost in the shuffle of cards coming in!
Shelly created this beautiful card with the most beautifully colored owl! The owl and cut outs are from the Still Night Bundle. How did I ever think that I didn’t “need” this bundle! Holding this card in my hands truly makes me think twice!! It’s gorgeous . . . and the Woodland Embossing Folder contributes so much to this nature oriented Christmas card.
Stacey made an elegant card with the Making Christmas Bright Bundle and the Corrugated Embossing Folder. Friends will be impressed to receive a card like this! The elegant Metallic Pearls and the shiney fold foil add extra shine and shimmer to this card.
Terri’s card uses White Craft ink in a way that evokes the quite stillness of a recent snowfall deep in the winter woods . . . and no wonder this bundle is called Winter Woods! I love the way she overstamped the Craft White to add the wintery, woodsy look to the pine trees. White Craft on Crumb Cake is also an elegant look for the trees behind the sentiment.
Carmen used the big sentiment from Merry Christmas to All and added the elegant Detailed Deer Thinlit Die cut out in copper foil to dash along at the top of it! In the background, you will notice that she stamped the Tags & Tidings image. I love the way the different colored panels in the background add to the festive look.
Dawn Michels created a cute card using the sentiment from the Beautiful Baubles stamp set and surrounded it with some festive looking lights that are in the All is Bright Designer Series Paper pack. It’s a bright and happy card that’s sure to bring a smile to the recipient!
Judy’s card also uses the Beautiful Baubles stamp set, and here you will see the gorgeous ornament that gives this stamp set its name. Judy used Stampin’ Blends to quickly and easily color the ornament. She attached it to a bough created with the Pretty Pines Thinlits dies. It does get you in the mood to decorate!
And finally, here is my contribution to the October Holiday 2018 Catalog swap featuring Christmas stamp sets. I used the Flourish Filigree stamp set, the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper Frost, and the Frosted Bouquet Thinlits. If you would like to see a video to show you step by step how I created this card, just click on Kay’s Flourish Filigree Christmas Card Blog Post.
