In December we had a lot of swappers participate because our theme was the ever popular Birthday Card! Enjoy these great examples of birthday cards created by my downline members. This is Part One. Stay tuned for Part Two tomorrow!
Janeen created this card with the Broadway Birthday stamp set accenting her card with one of our adhesive backed Candle Embellishments. The lovely lipstick with the bold black and white is quite striking! Janeen was a first time swapper in our group so we are looking forward to more of her creations in the future!
This masculine card is created with banners easily created with the Triple Banner Punch from Stampin’ Up! Karen used the Buffalo Check stamp in the background with a sentiment from Detailed with Love. The Tailored Tag Punch makes a lovely accent for the sentiment. Linen Thread and a Galvanized Clip complete the look!
Humming Along is a stamp set in the 2019 Occasions Catalog and Dawn fussy cut the beautiful floral in this stamp set and then after coloring it added Wink of Stella and Faceted Gold Gem. The sentiment works well with the Pretty Label Punch and the Spring Punch adds a pretty accent behind the sentiment.
Stampin’ Up! Lift Me Up has a coordinating thinlit set to really lift your spirits! Julie created this birthday card with the Cloud Nice sentiment on the inside. I love the striking look she created with the Blackberry Bliss and the Whisper White. The Whisper White Tulle Ribbon is a great accent.
This card by Josie uses the Perennial Birthday stamp set and Garden Impressions 6×6 Designer Series Paper. I love the way she used the subtle embossing folder on the circle cut out. The placement of the circle behind the sentiment really adds a bit of “punch” to this card helping the sentiment to stay defined despite the bright busyness of the background paper.
This bright birthday card uses the new Piece of Cake Bundle in the 2019 Occasions Catalog. Mary Alice paired it up with bright paper from the Happiness Blooms paper pack. The bright yellow really adds a pop of color to this card and the Classic Label Punch makes the sentiment stamp out.
Sharon’s card uses the popular set called Wishing You Well and her sentiment is from Beautiful You. I love the way she repeat stamped the bow in tone on tone in the background of this card. The tiny twine bow adds a sweet touch and the rhinestones add in a bit of sparkle . . . all sweet touches on a sweet card.
