My downline is impressively talented and I just love it when they choose to participate in our monthly meeting swaps. In April, we had a Spring Theme so we were thinking all things spring. Enjoy Part One and watch for part two to come your way tomorrow.
Tammy Nelson’s card uses the stamp set called En Route. This is a perfect graduation card for a neighbor or nephew or any guy moving up or moving on. The layout is such that it would be easy to switch out colors to reflect school colors. Tammy add some great touches like the Maps Etc embossed layer, the washi and the Best Route Enamel Shapes.
Diana Wilson’s card is a symphony of gorgeous layers beginning with the beautiful Country Floral Embossing Folder which will make a reappearance in our upcoming 2019-20 Annual Catalog. The main image is a layer of the cross from the Cross of Hope Dies and a floral image from the Hold on to Hope stamp set. She also added layers with the Stitched Shapes and the Layering Ovals Dies. A wonderful card for first communions, confirmations or baptisms.
Cindy LeMire reached for the Humming Along Bundle when she gave thought to her Spring Theme. She created multiple layers on her card with and used the Country Floral Embossing Folder as a way to highlight the beautifully colored hummingbird that she colored with Stampin’ Blends. The designer paper in the background is from the All My Love pack.
Stacey Krats also used Stampin’ Blends to color her floral images from the stamp set called Perennial Birthday. A bunch of Layering Circles Dies were employed to highlight the images in this stamp set. The ribbon is that lovely Reversible Ribbon in Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green. It adds a bright stirp of color to this card. The designer paper is from the How Sweet It Is pack.
Grace Balfanz created a gorgeous Mother’s Day card with the Tea Together and Tea Time Dies. The Tea Time Dies will be re-appearing in our 2019-20 Annual Catalog. The background layer has the soon to be retired Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder. The gorgeous designer paper will also soon expire and it is called Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. The frame is created with the Rectangle Stitched Dies.
Kim Lundstrom thought about what colors she would want in a Spring Themed card and this is what she came up with! This beautifully spring colored card features the Tropical Chic Bundle from our 2018-19 Annual Catalog. She also used paper from the 6×6 Tropical Escape paper pack. It makes a lovely congrats card that can be used for many different occasions.
Shelly Lommel reached for the stamp set called Wonderful Moments to this beautiful card for the bride! Spring wedding showers are pretty common here in MN and I just may have to use this idea myself for a couple of upcoming shower events! The elegant embossing through the center of the background panel is from the soon to be retired Petal Pair Embossing Folders set. Shelly also used Layering Ovals Dies and highlighted the bride with a Stampin’ Blend.
Stay tuned for Part Two coming up tomorrow! Have a great day and Happy Stamping!
