I love seeing the Meeting Swaps from Creative Crafters Stamping to Share! The July Demo Meeting Swaps were wonderful!! Our theme was New Catalog and this is Part One of a two part set of posts featuring our swap cards.As always, I’m excited to share these cards with you, however, I cannot give you instructions. Many of my downline have facebook pages and I’ve noted this on the watermark if you have questions for them. This is part one of a two part series featuring cards designed by my downline members. Sandie Alford created a wonderful gift card hold with the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle. She made them in every one of the new 2020-22 In Colors using the 6×6 Designer Series as her background. It was fun to see all the different colors, but I thought the sunflower looked especially nice in Cinnamon Cider.
The In Good Taste Product Suite has a lot to offer and this card showcases it fantastically! Lisa Miltakis created this card with the Tasteful Touches Bundle and accented with fussy cut feathers and a wood element feather. You can even see a hint of the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder on the pennant. The background paper is from In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.
Charmaine Metzinger used the Jar of Love Bundle to create this sweet, summery bouquet. The background paper is from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper Pack. She showcased the bouquet on a panel cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. The pearls and ribbon also add an elegant touch!
Rainbow Glimmer Paper really shines . . . even in the background! Kim Lundstrom created this Many Mates Bundle card. The die cut strips across the width of the card really help to “anchor” the sentiment. She made these in several colors depending on what pieces of Rainbow Glimmer she was attempting to highlight. This one was over a Flirty Flamingo card base.
Brenda Hillard and I share the same passion: coffee! This swap card is with the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle. The2020-22 In Color Enamels add a nice touch to this cute retro style coffee cup card. (And isn’t everyday a coffee kind of day?)
Diana Wilson found a YouTube Tutorial on how to make a Triple Easel Card so she “wowed” us with one using the Playful Pets Suite. The Pampered Pets Bundle provides some excellent stamping opportunities for making cards for Dog and Cat owners. This card featured dogs, but she also did some featuring cats. The dies in this bundle also work with some of the images in the Patterned Paper!
When you want to create a “pop” of color on your card . . . color your image with a Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blend! That’s what Stacey Krats did and it really makes for a bright spot in your day! She also used a frame created with the Stitched Rectangle Dies to add some depth to her card. She used the Prized Peony Bundle to create this card.
Mary Alice Bellis used bright and happy colors to feature this new stamp set called Walk in the Woods. The strips of paper in the background are from the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper Pack. Granny Apple Green and Night of Navy make a striking color combination! The die cut panels for the stamped images are from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
